Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Jobot is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the DC/Baltimore market as a true hunter, with a territory that’s yours to build. You’ll prospect, cold-call, and close new logos, with a base salary in the mid-80s plus uncapped commissions, and a company vehicle.
Remote (Bowie, MD) with travel across the DC area, you’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, aim for $1M in annual sales, and partner with operations on bids and proposals to win strategically.
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year
Our Client is a well established commercial landscape maintenance and construction company with a strong presence across the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia region. They work with property managers, HOAs, and commercial owners who need a partner they can count on, and they've built their reputation on doing the job right. They’re looking for someone who can bring that same reliability to new business development.
This is a true hunter role. No inherited book, no handed off leads, just you, your network, and a territory that’s yours to build. If you're the type who gets energy from cold outreach, closing new logos, and watching your pipeline turn into revenue, this is built for you. You'll have real autonomy to run your territory, a company vehicle, and a comp plan where your commission has no ceiling. The harder you work this, the more you make.
Base salary $85,000 to $90,000 plus uncapped commission.
