Job summary

Byrne & Jones Construction seeks an experienced outside sales professional to lead growth across Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri for our Sports & Parks division. You will engage with athletic directors, boards, and design professionals to win multi-million-dollar projects.

This remote role offers an uncapped commission plan, a base salary starting at $55,000, and strong marketing/estimating support.

Qualifications

5+ years closing complex B2B deals.
Track record of multi-million-dollar closes.
Credibility with end users, executives, elected boards, and design professionals.
Self-motivated with ability to generate opportunities.
Knowledge of design-build, sports sales, parks sales preferred.
Strong time management and CRM habits while working remotely.

Responsibilities

Territory growth and pipeline expansion.
Engage on bond issues, capital plans, and park master plans before RFPs.
Qualify, pursue, propose, negotiate, and close; make go/no-go decisions.
Present to athletic directors, parks directors, superintendents, architects, and boards.
Show the value of design-build: one team from concept to completion.
Lead pursuit teams with Estimating, Design, and Operations through RFQs, RFPs, and bids.
Meet/exceed annual targets with a strong CRM pipeline and forecast.
Maintain client relationships to turn projects into referrals and repeat work.
