Job summary

Coface, Princeton-based with remote options, seeks a proactive Business Development Officer to hunt for and close new business and to retain and grow key accounts. You will lead a robust sales process, engage decision-makers, and drive Coface’s North American growth in a fast-paced environment.

You will build a strong pipeline, manage client relationships, and promote credit insurance and related services to corporations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ proven experience selling B2B; financial, banking or insurance solutions a plus.
• Trade Credit Insurance a plus.
• Cold-calling and new business skills required in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and retention.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieves annual revenue objectives through consultative sales to new clients and renewal of existing policies.
• Builds a portfolio aligned with Coface strategic growth and retention goals.
• Generates leads from banks, insurance agencies, and direct cold calling; targets business owners and CFOs.
• Markets and sells financial products (credit insurance and related services) to corporations in assigned regions.
• Maintains client programs and coverage; researches new business opportunities.
