Coface is seeking a motivated Business Development Officer to drive new business and grow a key client base in the North American region. You will hunt for opportunities, manage renewals, and build a pipeline through cold-calling and networking with banks and insurers.

The role offers a competitive base salary plus commissions, remote work options, and a comprehensive benefits package. Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of B2B sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ proven experience selling B2B; financial, banking or insurance solutions a plus.
• Cold-calling and new business skills required in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and retention.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Robust network in designated territory.
• Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Achieves annual revenue objectives through consultative sales to new clients and renewals.
• Builds a portfolio aligned with Coface growth and retention goals.
• Generates leads from banks, insurance agencies, and direct cold calling.
• Markets and sells credit insurance and related services to corporations in assigned regions.
• Manages service for new and existing clients and monitors programs.
