Job summary

The Doan Group in Roanoke, VA is seeking an experienced Automotive Appraiser to appraise damaged vehicles and determine value. You will inspect, document damage, and review repair estimates with a detail-oriented approach and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, assessing damage extent, documenting repairs, and providing vehicle value documentation to support settlements. Flexible work-from-home options are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Previous experience as an Automotive Appraiser is preferred.
• Excellent written communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inspections of damaged vehicles.
• Determine the extent of damage and determine vehicle value.
• Document repairs needed and review repair shop estimates.
• Determine vehicle value and provide documentation.
