Job summary

K2 Claims Services, LLC is seeking a seasoned Auto & Liability Examiner for a fully remote role. The position is based from Harrisburg, PA with a national remote footprint, requiring strong claims handling, regulatory compliance, and client reporting.

The candidate will manage diverse caseloads, coordinate with appraisers and counsel, and ensure accurate coverage analysis while supporting business growth and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial and/or personal lines liability and auto experience.
• 1 year of general liability experience preferred but not required.
• Licensing: ability to obtain and maintain all required state adjuster licenses.
• Work schedule: M-F, 40 hours per week.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Technical proficiency: proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage claims following state regulations and company Best Practices.
• Handle a broad spectrum of auto property damage and liability claims.
• Oversee assignment through resolution, directing appraisers and reviewing estimates.
• Refer to counsel for lower exposure litigated cases and manage budgets.
• Analyze policy coverage and draft reservation of rights or declination letters.
• Prepare comprehensive senior management and client reports on status and reserves.
• Negotiate settlements within assigned authority.
• Analyze risk transfer options and insurance priorities.
• Identify and refer appropriate claims to subrogation or SIU.
