Job summary

K2 Claims Services, LLC is seeking an Auto & Liability Claims Examiner for a fully remote position based in Harrisburg, PA. The role targets handling a diverse aut o and liability caseload with emphasis on compliance and effective settlements.

The candidate will manage claims from intake through resolution, coordinate with appraisers, and oversee less-exposed litigated cases. A bachelor's degree and state licensure readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial and/or personal lines liability and auto experience.
• 1 year of general liability experience preferred but not required.
• Licensing: Ability to obtain and maintain all required state adjuster licenses.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Travel: Occasional travel for training, mediations, and trials.
• Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage claims in accordance with state regulations and company best practices.
• Handle auto property damage and liability claims across varied exposures.
• Coordinate appraisers, review estimates, and resolve loss of use and rental claims.
• Oversee lower exposure litigated cases with counsel as needed.
• Analyze policy coverage and draft reservation of rights letters.
• Prepare large loss reports for management and clients.
• Negotiate settlements within authority.
• Refer subrogation or SIU referrals when appropriate.
