Job summary

Humana, Inc., through CenterWell Home Health, is seeking an Authorization Supervisor to oversee daily authorization activities and guide staff to meet policy standards. The role reports to the Authorizations Manager and may require travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

The position is remote with a typical schedule of Monday–Friday 9:30am–6pm EST and 40 hours per week. Starting base pay ranges from $65,000 to $88,600 annually, with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years healthcare authorization experience.
• Some lead or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Knowledge of healthcare collections and AR procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily authorization activities and guide staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to policies.
• Oversee authorization management functions and maintain portfolios at acceptable levels.
• Assist management at branches on authorization issues and process improvements.
• Develop and implement plans to keep authorizations within stated objectives.
• Maintain provider manuals, patient information updates, and various logs.
