Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of healthcare authorization experience.
• Some lead or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare collections and accounts receivable procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily authorization activities and guide staff to ensure efficiency.
• Oversee authorization management and maintain portfolios at acceptable levels.
• Provide guidance to management on authorization issues at branches.
• Develop plans to keep authorizations within objectives.
• Maintain provider manuals, patient information updates, and logs.
• Ensure timely authorizations and adherence to customer service guidelines.
