Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years healthcare authorization experience.
• Some lead or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare collections and accounts receivable preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily authorization activities and guide staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Oversee authorization management functions and maintain portfolios at acceptable levels.
• Assist management at branches on authorization issues.
• Develop plans to ensure authorizations meet objectives.
• Maintain provider manuals, patient information updates, and logs.
• Ensure timely authorizations and compliance with customer service standards.
