Job summary

Oscar is seeking an Associate, Inquiries and Investigations to join the Provider Data Operations team. The role focuses on solving data process challenges, leading implementations, and ensuring data accuracy and filing submissions across workflows.

Reports to the Senior Manager, Provider Data Operations. This remote position supports candidates in Dallas, Texas, with potential for future hybrid arrangements. Base pay ranges $87,188–$114,434 per year plus benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years commensurate experience.
• 3+ years in payer or provider healthcare contracting, provider network management, or related field.
• 2+ years using data software like Excel, SQL or other analytics tools.
• 2+ years end-to-end project management.
• 2+ years designing and improving workflows and standing up operating/technical procedures.
• 2+ years presenting information to Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end cross-functional implementations and projects with plan creation, stakeholder engagement, edge-case mitigation, and on-time completion.
• Evaluates departmental performance by analyzing data to inform tech-enabled solutions and establish metrics.
• Investigates risks/escalations and partners across teams on improvement plans through final release to production.
• Mentors team members and promotes growth to optimize operational efficiency and achieve targets.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
