Job summary

Safeguard Law Group is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to handle a diverse consumer protection caseload from a remote home office. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, preparing memoranda, and communicating with clients and opposing parties regarding claims.

The ideal candidate will be admitted to the Tennessee bar, have at least 1 year of law firm experience, and demonstrate superb organizational, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage heavy workloads

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Must possess superior organizational & time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and employees at all levels.
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of Tennessee clients.
• Communicating with clients regarding their matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; reviewing & drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conducting legal research related to contract law and consumer law.
