Job summary

Safeguard Law Group, PLLC. is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our practice remotely, primarily serving Tennessee clients with a base in the Financial District of New York.

The ideal candidate is licensed in Tennessee, with solid drafting, research, and organizational skills, ready to handle a heavy workload and collaborate across the firm. Communication with our main office will be via telephone and electronic means; travel to in-court appearances will be required.

Qualifications

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational & time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels.
• LexisNexis proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a heavy and diversified caseload in Tennessee.
• Communicating with clients regarding matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve claims.
• Legal research related to contract and consumer law.
• Travel for in-court appearances; role is remote from home.
