Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and leads a team of attorneys and paralegals providing day-to-day legal support for Archimedes.

You will counsel on contracts, regulatory matters, and strategic initiatives, and collaborate with Navitus teams to ensure compliance with laws and company values. Requires 6+ years in legal practice and PBM/health insurance exposure.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from an ABA accredited Law school required.
• License to practice law in at least one US state required; Wisconsin license preferred.
• 6+ years of legal experience required; PBM or health insurance experience preferred.
• Experience with contracts, regulatory compliance and IT systems is expected.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and counsel on contracts, statutes, products and employment law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and update templates to reflect needs.
• Oversee licensing and regulatory compliance for Archimedes.
• Guide strategic initiatives from a legal perspective to shape organizational direction.
• Maintain policies and procedures related to Archimedes legal needs.
• Research statutes and regulations to ensure ethical, lawful practices.
