Job summary

Navitus is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes to lead a team of attorneys and paralegals delivering day-to-day legal support. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and focuses on contracts, statutes and regulations, products, employment law, intellectual property, financial offerings, and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate has a JD or equivalent, license to practice in at least one state, 6+ years of legal experience, and direct PBM or health insurance experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from an ABA accredited Law school required.
• License to practice law in at least one US state required; Wisconsin license preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in a legal role.
• Direct experience within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health insurance industry preferred.
• Experience with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and counsel on contracts, statutes, and regulations across products and operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and maintain templates.
• Manage licensing and regulatory processes for Archimedes.
• Advise on legal issues shaping organizational direction and IT systems.
• Update policies and procedures related to Archimedes legal needs.
