Job summary

Navitus is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes in the United States. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and leads a team of attorneys and paralegals providing day‑to‑day legal support for Archimedes.

Responsibilities include contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory/licensing oversight, and advising on legal matters across contracts, employment, IP, and IT systems. A JD from an ABA‑accredited school and PBM/health insurance experience are required.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent degree from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• License to practice law in at least one US state; Wisconsin license preferred.
• 6+ years of legal experience.
• Direct experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health insurance industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Commitment to compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal support for Archimedes and manage a team of attorneys and paralegals.
• Advise on contracts, regulations, products, employment law, IP, financial offerings and real estate transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts; maintain and update templates.
• Oversee licensing and regulatory compliance for Archimedes.
• Guide legal perspectives on new initiatives and IT systems.
• Develop and review Archimedes policies and procedures.
