Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions seeks an Assistant General Counsel to lead Archimedes' legal team, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer. The role covers day-to-day legal support, contract negotiation, regulatory licensing, and policy development, ensuring ethical business practices and alignment with Navitus' mission.

The candidate will collaborate across Navitus and Lumicera teams, manage legal risk, and help shape organizational strategy with a strong PBM/health insurance background.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one US state.
• Minimum 6+ years of legal experience.
• Direct experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management or health insurance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Commitment to compliance programs.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support for Archimedes and lead a team of attorneys and paralegals.
• Counsel on contracts, statutes, regulations, products, employment, IP, and real estate.
• Draft, review, negotiate contracts, and maintain templates.
• Ensure regulatory licensing and compliance for Archimedes.
• Advise on legal issues shaping organizational direction and IT systems.
• Develop policies and procedures in alignment with Archimedes' mission.
