Job summary

Aston Carter seeks an Assistant Controller to lead multi-entity accounting for the Americas in a fully remote role aligned to Eastern Time. You will drive monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting.

You will manage a team of 6+ accountants, oversee G/L, intercompany, consolidations, SOX controls, audits, and partner with senior leadership to improve processes using SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years overseeing month-end close in a publicly traded manufacturing company with revenue >$1B.
• 10+ years financial reporting in a multi-entity environment.
• 10+ years consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• 5+ years managing a team of 6+ staff.
• Deep U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• SOX compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting per U.S. GAAP.
• Lead and develop a team of 6+ accounting professionals.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations.
