Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the accounting function across a complex, multi-entity organization. You will own the close process, ensure accurate financial reporting under U.S.

GAAP, and partner with FP&A, Legal, and Operations to explain results and drive improvements. The role requires deep technical accounting knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor a team of five professionals while supporting growth and internal controls

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in complex environments.
• Experience with public accounting and/or multi-entity organizations is desirable.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and technical accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidation entries.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
• Lead variance analyses with FP&A and Operations to explain results.
