GAAP adherence, and complex revenue recognition under ASC 606, with collaboration across finance and operations. You will manage the accounting team, partner with IT on financial systems like NetSuite, review balance sheets and P&L, and prepare materials for audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years progressive accounting experience in a controller or managerial role.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar cloud ERP.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review balance sheets and income statements for accuracy.
• Analyze account fluctuations and investigate variances.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for significant transactions.
• Manage revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
• Review contracts and invoices to determine revenue recognition.
• Partner with operational teams on revenue-generating activities.
• Support year-end financial statements and external audits.
• Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Coordinate with IT on systems, reporting, and data integrations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
