Job summary

GAF seeks an Asphalt Process Excellence Manager to lead multi-plant process improvements across asphalt yards, optimizing safety, efficiency, productivity and costs. You will work with Engineering, Operations, R&D, QA, and Supply Chain to standardize procedures and share best practices.

The role requires advanced problem solving, data analysis, and leadership across technical and managerial teams. Travel up to 50% is expected as part of plant visits and cross-site initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required (chemical/mechanical/electrical).
• 10+ years manufacturing experience with multi-location exposure.
• 5+ years process engineering across multiple locations.
• Supervisory or PM leadership experience.
• Experience with process optimization and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to define and deploy engineering standards and SOPs.
• Drive cross-plant improvement, cost savings, and performance.
• Serve as point of contact for process experts and equipment standards.
• Collaborate with corporate and plant teams on new tech adoption.
• Lead safety improvements via HAZOP and process changes.
