Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Area Business Manager for Allergy in the Baltimore, MD area. This remote role focuses on engaging Allergists and key customers to grow revenue for atopic dermatitis and asthma indications across Baltimore and surrounding regions.

You will collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access teams, and thought leaders to address market dynamics and drive strategic plans, while meeting product goals with integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech medical device sales experience or other life science relevant experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information.
• Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary - additional travel may be required within the assigned territory.
• Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments operating with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines.
• Ability to operate as a "team player" in cooperation with collaboration partners and internal colleagues to reach common goals.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Engage Allergy/Immunology customers within assigned geographical territory and deliver clinically focused messages to support brand goals.
• Collaborate with field-based stakeholders and Medical Science Liaisons to address customer needs and market dynamics.
• Develop relationships with Allergy experts and key healthcare staff to drive territory success.
• Drive opportunities and develop strategic plans to grow product utilization and territory business.
• Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
• Maximize budget to support strategies and tactics in the territory.
• Participate in industry congresses, meetings and conferences.
• Own business opportunities within the geography including large group practices.
