Job summary

NMS seeks a Remote Armed Security Officer to deliver professional armed security for oilfield sites in remote environments. You will protect personnel, facilities, equipment, and critical infrastructure through proactive security operations and access control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education may substitute part of experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety policies.
• Strong written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine armed security patrols by foot, vehicle, or electronic monitoring.
• Control access to facilities by verifying IDs and authorizing entry.
• Inspect doors, windows, and gates for proper security; report deficiencies.
• Observe and report property damage, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and incidents.
• Enforce policies and remove unauthorized persons when needed.
• Notify and coordinate visitor access according to procedures.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and medical incidents; protect life and property.
• Operate camp billeting and visitor management systems; document personnel and visitors.
• Monitor fire protection, security, and building systems; report concerns.
• Transport personnel and provide medical response within training scope.
• Complete incident reports and daily logs accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
