Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a professional sales specialist to drive profitable revenue for fence materials in the Central market. This remote role can be based in Nashville, TN or Chicago, IL, and requires leveraging all fencing brands and partnerships to grow accounts.

The role involves architectural outreach, account management, and a strong emphasis on consultative selling, with travel up to 50% and collaboration with inside sales and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience in construction/architecture/engineering
• 5+ years B2B sales; preferably fencing or building materials
• Knowledge or ability to design, quote and price custom fence/railing projects
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales revenue and profitability targets within the assigned territory
• Promote products to architectural firms, design-build firms, and others that specify our products
• Maintain current architect account base and develop new accounts for revenue growth
• Consult with prospects and customers to develop business within each marketplace
• Create or attend customer events, tradeshows or other events to develop brand awareness
• Present to architects daily to create market demand for products
• Maintain active sales pipeline for opportunities to sell more or new products
• Collaborate with inside sales on order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with product teams on rollout of new products and solutions
• Collaborate on market pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness
