Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks a professional sales specialist to drive revenue for fence materials in the Central market from a remote base in Chicago or Nashville.

You will build relationships with architectural firms, design-builds, and distributors, manage a pipeline, and collaborate with product teams on pricing and new solutions. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years B2B sales, MS Office proficiency, travel up to 50%, and ability to lift 25 lbs. Competitive base plus commission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
• 5+ years B2B sales experience, preferably in fencing or building materials.
• Knowledge or ability to design, quote, and price custom fence/railing projects.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales revenue and profitability targets within the assigned territory.
• Promote products to architectural firms, design-build firms, and other companies.
• Maintain and grow the architect account base and develop new accounts for revenue growth.
• Operate consultatively as product/industry/brand expert to develop business.
• Attend customer events, tradeshows, or other events to develop brand awareness.
• Maintain active sales pipeline to sell more or new products.
