Job summary

AECOM is seeking multiple Archaeology Technicians for immediate employment within our Cultural Resources team. This remote, part-time on-call role involves fieldwork in the Midwest with possible overnight travel in Ohio and Illinois.

Workdays are determined as needed through September–December, with potential extension depending on weather. Responsibilities include field data collection, equipment setup and maintenance, and ensuring proper project documentation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• 2 years of relevant archaeological fieldwork experience or equivalent.
• Valid US Driver's License and verification of driving record.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs fieldwork under supervision of Crew Chief, Field Director or PI.
• Domestic travel may be required; overnight trips for field sessions.
• Assist with calculations, setup/operation of equipment, and documentation.
• Collects and enters data applying technical principles under supervision.
