Job summary

Arcadis is seeking entry-level Archaeologists to support environmental planning projects in Ohio and surrounding states. You will conduct fieldwork from site identification to data recovery, working on shovel testing, pedestrian surveys, excavation, and site documentation.

This field position requires extensive travel and remote work at project sites under a hybrid structure. As a member of the Arcadis cultural resources team, you will support a range of sectors, including linear utilities, oil

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in anthropology/archaeology.
• 1-2 years of experience in cultural resources management.
• Practical field experience within Ohio or surrounding states.
• Working knowledge of GPS systems and the collection of field data.

Responsibilities

• Conduct archaeological fieldwork for multiple projects.
• Perform shovel testing, pedestrian surveys, excavation, and site documentation.
• Travel to project sites, including overnight travel; field work 90-100%.
