AECOM is seeking Archaeology Technicians for the Midwest, primarily in Ohio and Illinois. This remote, part-time, on-call role involves fieldwork under supervision, with travel overnight to field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency in archaeological fieldwork.
• US citizenship required.
• Valid US driver’s license and driving record verification.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of field tasks in support of project staff.
• May collect and maintain records of data and environmental sampling at client sites.
• Assist with calculations, set up and operate equipment, inspect for compliance and maintain documentation.
• Collects and enters data under supervision.
