Job summary

AECOM is seeking multiple Archaeology Technicians for our Cultural Resources team. This is a remote, part-time, on-call position with workdays and times determined as needed; immediate field projects will be in Ohio and Illinois, occasional overnight travel may be required.

Technicians will perform fieldwork under supervision, assist with data collection, maintain records, and support project documentation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• 2 years of relevant archaeology fieldwork experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Valid US Driver's License and clean driving record.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.
• Gathers and maintains records of scientific data for supervisor.
• Assists with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, and inspections for specifications.
• Collects and enters data and applies technical principles under supervision.
