Job summary

Recycle Track Systems (RTS) is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, reconciliations, and cash applications. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate billing, resolve past-due balances, and apply payments promptly in a fast-paced, remote environment.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, proactive problem-solving, and strong communication. Experience in the waste industry is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting, focusing on collections.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Data analysis and ERP systems experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own client invoicing lifecycle from start to finish.
• Prepare and process customer invoices for contracts and on-demand work.
• Manage customer portal submissions and updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams on invoicing and account concerns.
• Review customer contracts for billing accuracy and completeness.
• Track AR metrics including aging and DSO.
• Post journal entries and ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Apply customer payments accurately and promptly.
• Reconcile daily payment activity, settlements, and bank deposits.
