Job summary

Recycle Track Systems (RTS) is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a remote role. You will handle the invoicing lifecycle, process customer invoices, manage portal submissions, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely payments and accurate billing.

You will also monitor AR metrics, post journal entries, apply payments, and pursue past-due accounts with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting with a focus on collections.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Data analysis skills to interpret financial data.

Responsibilities

• Own client invoicing lifecycle from start to finish.
• Prepare and process customer invoices for contracts and on-demand services.
• Manage customer portal submissions and updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoicing and account concerns.
• Review contracts for billing accuracy and completeness.
• Track AR metrics including aging and DSO.
• Post journal entries and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Apply customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile daily payment activity and bank deposits.
• Maintain and update customer records and billing data.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and open items.
• Respond to customer inquiries and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Initiate collections on past-due accounts and negotiate payment solutions.
