Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist based in the United States for a fully remote, full-time role. You will ensure insurance claims are processed, reimbursed, and resolved, managing complex AR cases and appeals to accelerate payments from payers.

Ideal candidates have hands‑on experience in claims follow‑up, denials, and healthcare billing, with strong communication and analytical skills. Remote work is available to eligible U.S. states, including Arkansas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in insurance claims follow-up.
• At least 2 years of experience in claims denial management.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a physician and/or healthcare facility business office.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a remote environment.
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, claims follow-up, appeals, reimbursement processes, and denial resolution.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations and follow established procedures and documentation standards.
• Compliance with vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex claims resolution activities and strengthen collection processes.
• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce outstanding accounts receivable and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims and identify resolution strategies including authorization, retroactive authorization, and precertification.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer‑required documentation.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and maximize collection outcomes.
• Document actions and progress using standardized note formats in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet established departmental productivity and performance requirements.
• Communicate issues and recommendations to leadership using SBAR format.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in initiatives to reduce outstanding accounts receivable.
• Troubleshoot technology‑related issues and escalate as needed.
• Assist billing teams in responding to incoming mail and correspondence.
• Perform additional duties to support departmental objectives.
