Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote position in the United States. The role focuses on insurance claims follow-up, denial management, and appealing unpaid/underpaid claims to accelerate payments.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in claims follow-up and denial management, with 5+ years in healthcare billing offices. Remote work is available for eligible states, with strong communication and analytical skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare billing experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of insurance claims follow-up experience.
• Minimum 2 years of claims denial management experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a physician or healthcare facility business office.
• At least 1 year experience working remotely.
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, claims follow-up, appeals and reimbursement processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce outstanding AR and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims promptly and identify resolution strategies including authorizations and precertifications.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through WAYSTAR for unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Document actions and progress using Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet productivity and performance requirements and communicate issues to leadership using SBAR.
• Assist billing teams with responses to mail and other correspondence; perform other duties as assigned.
