Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote, full-time position based in the United States. You will manage complex AR cases, investigate denials, and coordinate appeals to accelerate payments from insurers and third-party payers.

Collaborating with billing teams, providers, patients, and payers, you will support efficient revenue cycle operations to sustain crisis care services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in insurance claims follow-up and denial management in healthcare billing.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field required; 2+ years of claims follow-up experience.
• 2+ years in claims denial management.
• 5+ years in physician or healthcare facility billing or auditing, preferably in behavioral health.
• 1+ year remote work experience and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce outstanding accounts receivable and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims and determine resolution strategies (authorization, retroactive authorization, precertification).
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer-required documentation through WAYSTAR for unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and maximize collections.
• Document actions and progress using standardized notes in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet departmental productivity and performance requirements.
• Support billing teams by handling inquiries and responding to incoming mail and correspondence.
