Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist to operate remotely in the United States, focusing on insurance claims follow-up, denials, and appeals to accelerate payments. You will work with billing teams, providers, patients, and insurers to resolve discrepancies and strengthen revenue cycle processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in insurance claims follow-up.
• 2+ years of experience in claims denial management.
• 5+ years of experience working in a physician and/or healthcare facility business office.
• 1+ year of experience working in a remote environment.
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, claims follow-up, appeals, reimbursement processes, and denial resolution.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Compliance with vaccination policies as required by the organization.
• At least 5 years of experience in physician and/or facility billing or auditing within a behavioral health environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce AR and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims promptly and identify resolution strategies.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through WAYSTAR.
• Document actions and progress in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet departmental productivity and performance requirements.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in initiatives to reduce AR.
• Assist billing teams in responding to incoming mail and correspondence.
