Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote, full-time position in the United States. You will manage complex AR cases, investigate denials, and coordinate appeals to accelerate payments from insurers and third-party payers.

The role requires experience in insurance claims follow-up, denial management, and strong analytical and communication skills. A healthcare-related Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with at least 5 years in physician/facility billing

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in insurance claims follow-up and denial management.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field.
• At least 2 years in insurance claims follow-up and denial management.
• At least 5 years in physician/healthcare facility billing or related environment.
• Experience working remotely is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up daily on assigned accounts to reduce outstanding AR.
• Review denied claims and identify resolution strategies (authorization, retroactive authorization, precertification).
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation in WAYSTAR.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and collections.
• Document actions and progress using standard notes in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet departmental productivity and performance targets.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in initiatives to reduce AR.
• Assist billing teams with responses to incoming mail and correspondence.
