Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience in insurance claims follow-up, denial management, and healthcare billing.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field.
• At least 2 years in insurance claims follow-up.
• At least 2 years in claims denial management.
• At least 5 years in physician/healthcare facility business office.
• At least 1 year in remote work environment.
• Knowledge of billing, appeals, reimbursement, and denial resolution.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Vaccination policy compliance with proof or exemptions.

Aufgaben

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce AR and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims promptly, identify resolution strategies.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer docs via WAYSTAR.
• Prioritize account resolution to improve efficiency and collections.
• Document actions using standard notes in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet department productivity and performance targets.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in AR reduction initiatives.
• Assist billing teams with responses to incoming mail.
