Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote, full-time role in the United States. You will help ensure accurate processing and reimbursement of insurance claims, manage complex AR cases, and coordinate appeals to accelerate payments with insurers and third-party payers.

Ideal candidates have hands-on insurance claims follow-up and denial management experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in insurance claims follow-up.
• 2+ years of experience in claims denial management.
• 5+ years of experience in physician and/or healthcare facility business office.
• 1+ year of experience working in a remote environment.
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, claims follow-up, appeals, and denial resolution.
• Compliance with vaccination policies and exemptions may apply.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce outstanding AR and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims promptly and identify resolution strategies including authorization/precertification.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through WAYSTAR.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and collections.
• Document actions and progress using standardized notes in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet departmental productivity and performance requirements.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in initiatives to reduce AR.
• Assist billing teams in responding to incoming mail and correspondence.
