Openkrill is seeking an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 100% remote role. If you have solid AR/AP experience, and strong Xero and Simpro skills, you will thrive in a customer-focused finance environment.

This role is remote from the US with AU business hours. You will manage AR/AP processes, reconciliations, statements, and portal invoicing for government and commercial clients, leveraging Xero and Simpro daily.

Competenze

• Experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, with Australian practices preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Xero and Simpro in daily finance tasks.
• Experience bank reconciliations, invoice matching and payment processing.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer service.
• Ability to manage a busy shared finance inbox and prioritise tasks.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Sound judgement and confidentiality when handling financial information.

Mansioni

• Manage AR and AP processes end-to-end.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Monitor and manage a high-volume shared finance inbox.
• Follow up outstanding customer payments and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements.
• Reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
• Batch supplier payments for approval and processing.
• Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers through professional communication.
• Utilise Xero and Simpro to reconcile transactions and support daily finance operations.
• Assist with portal-based invoicing for government, strata and commercial clients.
• Learn and use finance automation tools as implemented.
• Escalate unusual transactions, risks or discrepancies with sound judgement.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements within finance.
