Chart Industries is seeking an Applications Engineer to be a primary technical resource for the field sales force, driving technical and commercial evaluation of inquiries to orders. You will collaborate with sales and engineering to provide reliable solutions that meet customer specs and project timelines.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 3+ years bidding/proposal experience for engineered equipment, proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and knowledge of API & ASME codes.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years bidding/proposal experience for engineered equipment.
• Ability to read and understand bid/specifications (technical and commercial).
• Experience reading P&IDs.
• Experience with API & ASME codes.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks; proficient with MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Review customer specs and develop proposals for centrifugal turbo-expanders and related equipment to generate competitive technical and commercial offers.
• Perform technical review of specifications and adjust scope to meet requirements.
• Perform calculations and product selections to meet process needs.
• Lead and coordinate the proposal process with sales, engineering, and support teams.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and internal databases.
