Chart Industries is seeking an Applications Engineer who will serve as the primary technical resource for field sales, guiding proposals for centrifugal turbo‑expanders and related equipment. You will collaborate with sales and engineering to tailor technical and commercial solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction across all sales stages.

Qualificações

• BS in Engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years bidding/proposal experience for engineered equipment or systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings including P&IDs.
• Experience with API and ASME codes.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Air Separation and Power Generation.
• Strong communication skills to interface with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Review customer specifications and develop competitive proposals for turbo‑expanders, turbo‑compressors and related equipment.
• Rationalize requirements outside standard scope to meet specifications.
• Perform calculations and product selections to meet process needs.
• Lead technical and commercial proposal design discussions with customers and sales.
• Coordinate internal proposal process across functions to cover costs, scheduling and logistics.
• Support KPIs such as bookings value, margins, OTD, and proposal pipeline.
• Provide safety procedures and product knowledge training as needed.
• Maintain records in Salesforce for target accounts and opportunities.
