Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to support the field sales force from a home-office in the United States. You will analyze customer specifications, craft proposals for cryogenic equipment, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and supply chain to win opportunities.

Responsibilities include technical and commercial evaluations, RFIs/RFPs, and ongoing product training for internal teams. A BS in engineering and hands-on bid experience are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field required.
• Experience bidding/proposal preparation for engineered equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings (P&IDs).
• Knowledge of API & ASME codes is a plus.
• Strong communication and independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer specifications for technical and commercial requirements.
• Develop proposals for centrifugal turbo-expanders and related equipment.
• Perform technical reviews to meet customer specs and scope.
• Lead technical and commercial proposal discussions with customers.
• Coordinate internal resources for proposals, design, and scheduling.
• Maintain Salesforce records and track opportunities and quotes.
• Provide training and product knowledge to sales and engineers.
