Job summary
Chart Industries is seeking an Applications Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for the field sales force. You will drive and manage technical and commercial evaluations from inquiry to order, acting as a product advocate with the sales and engineering teams.
You will review customer specifications, develop competitive proposals for centrifugal turbo-expanders and related equipment, and ensure solutions meet all technical and commercial requirements while aligning with internal
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years bidding/proposal experience for engineered equipment or systems.
- Experience reading P&IDs (technical drawings).
- Experience with API & ASME codes.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Air Separation and Power Generation.
Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications for technical and commercial requirements for new equipment projects.
- Develop and align proposals for centrifugal turbo-expanders and turbo-compressors.
- Perform technical reviews of customer specifications to meet agreed requirements.
- Lead technical and commercial proposal discussions with customers and internal teams.
- Manage the internal proposal process across sales, design engineering, and supply chain.
