Job summary
Chart Industries is seeking an Applications Engineer to support the field sales force as the primary technical resource. This remote role handles technical and commercial evaluation from inquiry to order, collaborating with sales, engineering, and other partners globally to deliver competitive proposals.

Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or related field.
- At least three years bidding/proposal experience for engineered equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings including P&IDs.
- Experience with API & ASME codes is a plus.
- Strong communication with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications for technical and commercial requirements.
- Develop and align proposals for centrifugal turbo-expanders and related equipment.
- Perform technical review of customer/project specifications.
- Perform calculations and product selections to meet process needs.
- Lead technical and commercial proposal discussions with customers while gathering Voice of the Customer feedback.
- Coordinate internal proposal process across teams to address costs, scheduling, and requirements.
- Promote safety procedures and product knowledge across the team.
