Job summary

Chart Industries in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Sales Applications Engineer to support the air‑cooled heat exchanger division. You will handle RFQs, perform technical/commercial evaluations, and prepare detailed proposals for customers.

You will collaborate with Business Development Managers, assist with contract negotiations, and support project execution while expanding product configurations. A mechanical/chemical engineering background and 0–5 years in thermal design or oil and gas are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 0-5 years of industry experience is expected.
• Experience with thermal design, rating, and performance analysis is beneficial.
• Knowledge of ASME/API standards is advantageous.
• Strong customer service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal sales support for the air‑cooled heat exchanger division.
• Evaluate RFQs and prepare detailed technical/commercial proposals.
• Conduct thermal and mechanical analysis and support project execution.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers on contracts and negotiations.
• Develop relationships with customers and advance sales tools and product configurations.
• Support safety integration and cross‑functional collaboration with SMEs.
