Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or computer technology related field (education is verified).
• Four years of experience in healthcare or computer technology related field.
• Six years of experience configuring, supporting, training, and implementing clinical, financial or administrative systems used in healthcare.
• Demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction for department/area and manage day-to-day operations of staff.
• Plan and manage daily operations within departmental budgets.
• Direct work of employees including hiring, goal setting, coaching and performance management.
• Manage relationships with customers, stakeholders and vendors.
• Communicate with staff and allocate resources to projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate interdependencies and schedules with other teams and stakeholders.
• Provide training opportunities to staff and ensure staff competencies.
• Ensure adherence to Intermountain service management best practices (incident, request, problems, change).
• Facilitate creation, management and measurement of operating and service level agreements for applications.
• Define and monitor application-specific metrics (incident, time to resolution, customer satisfaction).
• Coordinate with IS teams to resolve incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
