Job summary

ABB's ELSE division seeks an experienced Application Engineering Manager to lead the U.S. AE organization in support of Commercial Operations and Sales teams.

You will drive customer-focused technical solutions, ensure quality SOWs and JCEs, and develop a high-performing team capable of supporting ABB's growth objectives. The role requires 12+ years in related fields, 25% travel within the US, and leadership of geographically dispersed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and 12+ years relevant work experience. Candidates with Electrical Engineering degree will be preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time within US
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in application engineering or field engineering in power delivery products and systems including a minimum of 5 years of experience working with customers in oil & gas, metals, mining, paper, power generation, data center, commercial buildings or similar business segments.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams strongly preferred.
• Experience with proposal development, statement of work creation, job costing, and commercial operations processes.
• Background in field service, power systems engineering, or industrial electrical services.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
