Job summary

ABB is seeking an Application Engineering Manager for Electrification Services (ELSE) in the U.S. to lead the AE organization in support of Commercial Operations and Sales.

You will drive customer-focused technical solutions, ensure high-quality SOWs and JCEs, and develop a high-performing team of Application Engineers. The role collaborates with Proposal Management and other ABB teams to standardize solutions, improve proposal cycle time, and enhance organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and 12+ years relevant work experience; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time within US.
• Minimum of 7 years in application/field engineering in power delivery with 5+ years customer-facing experience in relevant sectors.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams preferred.
• Experience with proposal development, statement of work creation, job costing, and commercial operations.
• Background in field service, power systems engineering, or industrial electrical services.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
