Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a senior Application Engineering Manager for Electrification Services in the U.S. This remote role will lead the U.S.

AE organization in support of Commercial Operations and Sales, delivering high-quality SOWs and JCEs while driving continuous improvement across people, processes, and technology. The role requires 12+ years in application/field engineering with travel up to 25%, and a proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and manage proposals and commercial

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required and 12+ years relevant work experience.
Willing to travel 25% of the time within US.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in application engineering or field engineering in power delivery products and systems.
Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams strongly preferred.
Experience with proposal development, statement of work creation, job costing, and commercial operations processes.
Background in field service, power systems engineering, or industrial electrical services.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing Application Engineering team.
Provide technical leadership and customer solution support across the ELSE portfolio.
Drive proposal excellence and operational effectiveness by ensuring high-quality SOWs and JCEs and improving inquiry-to-order processes.
Standardize and continuously improve engineering processes and capabilities through KPI management and training programs.
