Job summary

ABB is seeking an Application Engineering Manager for Electrification Services to lead the U.S. AE team, partner with Sales and Operations, and drive high-quality proposals.

The role is remote with travel up to 25% within the United States and reports to the EL Sales Support Manager in Commercial Operations. You will build a high-performing group, prioritize resources, and standardize processes to improve proposal quality and customer satisfaction while collaborating with multiple ABB

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 12+ years relevant work experience.
• Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25% within the US.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams.
• Experience with proposal development, SOW creation, and job costing.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Application Engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership and customer solution support across the ELSE portfolio.
• Drive proposal excellence and operational effectiveness, including high-quality SOWs and JCEs.
• Standardize and continuously improve engineering processes and capabilities.
